CANCELLATION POLICY

(DOCBOON Platform)

1. APPLICABILITY

This Policy governs cancellation of orders placed on the DOCBOON Platform.

All transactions are treated as prepaid commercial procurement transactions.

2. ORDER FINALITY

All orders, once placed and confirmed, shall be considered final and binding, subject only to limited cancellation conditions defined herein.

3. BUYER-INITIATED CANCELLATION

3.1 Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled by the buyer only if:

• The order has not been dispatched
• Cancellation request is raised within a reasonable time after placing the order
• Cancellation is approved by DOCBOON / seller

DOCBOON reserves the right to accept or reject cancellation requests based on order processing status.

3.2 After Dispatch

Once an order is:

• Dispatched
• Handed over to logistics
• Marked as shipped

👉 Cancellation shall not be permitted

Any issues thereafter shall be governed strictly by the Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.

4. AUTO-CANCELLATION BY DOCBOON

DOCBOON reserves the right to cancel orders at its sole discretion in cases including but not limited to:

• Product unavailability
• Pricing or listing errors
• Seller non-fulfillment
• Regulatory or compliance concerns
• Suspicious or fraudulent transactions

5. SELLER-INITIATED CANCELLATION

Sellers may request cancellation in cases such as:

• Stock mismatch
• Product damage before dispatch
• Compliance or regulatory issues

Such cancellations shall be processed through DOCBOON.

6. REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION

Where a cancellation is approved:

• Refund shall be processed to the original payment method
• Refund shall be limited to the amount received from the buyer

7. REFUND TIMELINE

Refunds shall be processed within:

• 7–10 working days from approval

Actual credit time depends on banking/payment systems.

8. NON-CANCELLABLE ORDERS

The following orders shall not be eligible for cancellation:

• Orders already dispatched
• Special procurement / made-to-order items
• Bulk or institutional orders once processed
• Time-sensitive or temperature-sensitive products (if applicable)

9. FRAUD & MISUSE CONTROL

DOCBOON reserves the right to:

• Reject repeated or abusive cancellation requests
• Block accounts engaging in misuse
• Recover associated losses

10. PAYMENT & SETTLEMENT IMPACT

• Cancellation may affect seller payouts and settlement timelines
• DOCBOON may:
• Hold payments
• Adjust settlements

in case of cancellations or disputes

11. NO LIABILITY FOR CANCELLATION

DOCBOON shall not be liable for:

• Loss of opportunity
• Business disruption
• Delays arising from cancellation

12. POLICY INTEGRATION

This Policy shall be read together with:

• Terms of Use + Disclaimer
• Privacy Policy
• Return, Replacement & Refund Policy
• Shipping & Delivery Policy
•  Payment & Settlement Terms

In case of conflict, the stricter provision shall prevail.

13. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by laws of India.

Exclusive jurisdiction: Courts at Ambala, Haryana.

14. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By placing an order, the buyer

• Accepts this Cancellation Policy
• Understands limitations on cancellation rights
• Agrees to conditions of refund and approval
