IN - Sell as Individual - SAFE-T Policy
Seller Assurance for Ecommerce Transactions (SAFE-T) enables sellers to claim reimbursement from DOCBOON for losses incurred due to buyer or Easy Ship related issues in accordance with the program policies. This feature is only available for Easy Ship orders received by sellers..
Note that all decisions pertaining to a SAFE-T Claims shall be undertaken by DOCBOON as per its sole discretion and as per the program policies, wherein such decision shall be final and binding on the seller.
SAFE-T Policy
You can request DOCBOON for reimbursement for your products that are damaged by DOCBOON during onward or return transit. You can also request reimbursement when a return is not received in original condition and a refund has been issued to customer from your account. DOCBOON, as per its sole discretion, will reimburse you based on the price of the product sold (item price in the order) less the residual value of the product. You can also request DOCBOON for reimbursement if a returned item has not been received by you within 30 days of return request and a refund has been issued to customer from your account.
- Residual value of damaged products is set at 55% of item price of the product (exclusive of the product taxes) in the order.
- Claims for damaged by DOCBOON and return not received in original condition must be submitted within 7 days (of the returned product being received by you or within 7 days) of the refund initiation date, whichever is later.
- In case an item is declared as “Lost” by DOCBOON/Logistic Service Provider (LSP), or there is no update on the tracking even after 15 days from the return pickup/ reject/undeliverable date, we will proactively reimburse you the same net amount as you would be paid in case of a successful sale. SAFE-T claim is not applicable for such cases.
- The above policy is applicable only for shipments where DOCBOON is responsible for the return/reverse logistics. For returns self-shipped by the buyer, SAFE-T claims for returned item not received should be filed after 30 days but within 60 days from the return request date. (This is for self-return cases)
- For reimbursements proactively issued in cases where the shipment was not marked delivered even after 15 days from the return pick-up date or the reject/undeliverable date, DOCBOON reserves the right to claw back the reimbursement(s) issued if the package(s) were later found to be successfully delivered.
- DOCBOON will not be liable to reimburse the seller for the returned shipment, if an attempt was made to deliver the shipment within 15 days from the return pick-up or the reject/undeliverable date but the delivery could not be completed because of the seller’s unavailability or refusal to accept the shipment.
SAFE-T Policy: Guidelines for sellers
- If in any instance, a seller is found to have filed a fraudulent claim or is found to be misusing or abusing the SAFE-T policy in any form or manner, DOCBOON as per its sole discretion reserves the right to reject any or all the outstanding claims made by the seller, recover the already reimbursed amount, suspend the seller from selling on DOCBOON and take any or all such action against the seller under the DOCBOON Services Business Solutions Agreement and/or as may be permitted under applicable laws.
- DOCBOON reserves the right to change and/or amend the terms of the SAFE-T policy at its sole discretion, without any prior notice to sellers and the seller shall be responsible for reviewing these changes and informing itself of all such applicable changes.
- At any point in time, if a seller is found to have filed a fraudulent claim or is found to be abusing or misusing the SAFE-T policy in any form or manner by exceeding the claims to refunds thresholds of 4%, DOCBOON as per its sole discretion reserves the right to deny all claims of the seller, recover the already reimbursed amount, suspend the SAFE-T feature for an indefinite period and take any or all such action against the seller under the DOCBOON Services Business Solutions Agreement and/or as may be permitted under applicable laws, including but not limited to suspending the seller from selling on DOCBOON.in.
IN - Sell as Individual - DOCBOON Easy Ship Lost and Damaged Inventory Reimbursement Policy
We maintain high standards when it comes to taking care of your inventory. However, occasionally accidents do happen. In case an item is declared as “Lost” by DOCBOON/Logistic Service Provider (LSP), we will pay the same net amount that would have been paid to you in case of a successful sale.
- For items, which are declared as “Damaged” by DOCBOON/LSP, we will refund 45% of order payment. In no event shall the reimbursement for “Damaged items” exceed Rs. 5000.
- For damaged reimbursement claims, seller needs to provide images proactively while raising the case.
